What is Medicare Advantage?
Medicare Advantage is an alternative to Original Medicare. These plans replace Medicare Parts A and B. They may also offer additional benefits like vision, dental and prescription drugs.

When can I enroll?
There are specific times during the year when you can enroll in Medicare Advantage Plans. The best time to enroll is during your Initial Enrollment Period, which begins three months before you turn 65 and ends 3 months after you turn 65.
You can also enroll during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period which runs from October 15 through December 7 each year.
If you miss both of these, you may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period depending on your individual circumstances. A licensed agent can help you determine if you are eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.
